On December 25, 2008, somethingwonderful happened. It was the beginning of a lifelong journey. This was the day my fabulous thoughtful husband gave me Billy Blank’sAmped Tae-Bo workout set. No worries ladies, I asked for thegift.
On this day three years ago, I startedeating healthier and exercising. Since then I’ve lost over sixtypounds. I’ve done things I never dreamed of doing such as hikingeleven miles (round trip) to Mt. LeConte in the Great SmokeyMountains, lowering my cholesterol, and dropping four sizes inclothing.
But even though I’ve enacted thischange, I still struggle to maintain a healthy diet during theholidays. I’m an avid couponer and one site I frequent is EatBetter America. This site is great for more than just coupons. Byjoining I received recipes to try. And boy, have I! You mention alow fat cheesecake and I’m so there! Now that I’ve shared some of myfavorite healthy recipes I wanted to share one other. This is afamily favorite.

  1. I am just blog hopping along to wish you a Merry Christmas. I joined your blog,FB & twitter as per Kymberlee's hopping rules. I believe however that I may have joined earlier, if so I apologize. So many authors are visiting each others' pages and I have memory problems, so you can see where I'm going with this, right. But it makes this fun for sure. Have a Great Christmas and May 2012 be very kind to you and your family.Jaxs (Suzanne M)jaxslady-ebooks@yahoo.ca

  2. Felicia, you are such an inspiration. I need to eat healthier and lose weight. Every Christmas I tell myself to do it, and every year I resign myself to the same size clothes I wore just before my kids were born! Treats like your delicious Cherry Yum-yums are part of the problem! But you did it, and I know I can too. Thanks for the nudge.
